Global Focus was nominated for an award at the Media Peace Awards held in Auckland on Wednesday the 9 November. Global Focus is a collaborative project between Tearaway Magazine and the Global Education Centre , and the articles written for it can be found here on the Just Focus site.

Congratuations to all the writers!!!

While we did not win the award this time, there is heaps of potential for talented Just Focus writers to enter next year in the Rangatahi section and get a prize. Anita McNaught made an amazing speech. While this is not available online, We are getting a hardcopy version of it so if any of you are interested in reading it, email us and we can post it out.
