The Just Write Team will produce useful, challenging and inspiring information and creative materials on global issues for Just Focus and other youth media.
 
 
 
Star You must

  • Be 12-18 and living in Aotearoa New Zealand.
  • Be fully committed to exploring global issues and sharing information and ideas with others young people.
  • Be prepared to face the big questions and put your opinions on the line.
  • Enjoy writing and be keen to develop your writing and research skills.
  • Join the team for one full year.

 
Star You will need to:

  • Write four articles, one film/book/music review and create a podcast or video news report for the Just Focus website and other youth media.

 
Star In return for all that hard work you will

  • Enjoy three days training in the bustling metropolis of Wellington (travel and accommodation covered!).
  • Be mentored by an experienced media professional.
  • Receive formal recognition of your achievement… something for your CV.
  • Score prizes and giveaways throughout the year.
  • Get to meet some great new people.
  • AND… You’ll get the satisfaction of making a positive difference and helping create change for a fairer, greener, more peaceful world!

You will need to fill in an application form and provide two short samples of your writing and get it back to us by 25 February 2008.

It’s really easy. Just download the application form, fill it in, click ‘Submit by Email’, then you can attach your writing samples and hit send! Alternatively you can fill it in, print it and post the complete application to Jennie at:
