Happy new year! I hope you all had a relaxing, enjoyable break and are feeling amped for 2010!!

The Just Focus team has big plans for this year and have already got off to a busy start; hanging out with awesome and inspiring ReGeneration crew at the Summer Jam in Canterbury, talking with teachers and educators at the NZ Association for Environmental Education conference in Hawkes Bay, starting work on the first Just Write magazine (exciting!)  and preparing to take the short film festival Media that Matters into schools.

It’s on.

The United Nations’ World Day of Social Justice is annually observed on 20 February to encourage people to look at how social justice affects poverty eradication. It promotes full employment and decent work, gender equity and justice for all. This year the focus is on employment justice.
